Pisasale - Morrow trophy presentation

Ipswich United Services Club has one of the best school-based programs in the Cunningham District. The high school program has been running since 2002 and in 2005 the primary school program was commenced thanks to a grant from Sport and Recreation Queensland. Both programs work towards having schools ready for the Interschool Challenge.

The Pisasale - Morrow Shield has been competed for by the high schools for four years and has been won by a different school each year.

2005 saw the introduction of the Bernie Ripoll Shield for the primary schools and was won by the team from Ipswich Central.

The programs on offer range from an all day session down to one hour a week for several weeks and by the end of the programs the students have a good understanding of how to play Lawn Bowls, the etiquette of the game and have developed good social skills related to the spirit of the game.

The cost of a one hour session is $3.30 (Gst inc). A full day costs $11.00 (Gst inc) which includes lunch and drinks at lunch time.
